A SHORT HYGIENE STORY


Tim routinely practices poor hygiene. His bathroom is always in a mess.
He seldom takes time to clean the refrigerator and dispose of outdated food.
As would be expected, he had salmonella poisoning.

Three days after recovering, he made no attempt to clean the bathroom, or
throw away the outdated food. He has created a breathing ground
for the germs. This is poor hygiene!

Rome and the Roman Empire We often hear of Rome and the Roman Empire.What does it mean? Rome is a very famous city , with a very rich history. The fall and rise of the Roman Empire, encompasses an era which lasted for around  a thousand years. Rome is the capital of Italy. A Tourist attraction Tourists flock to visit the ruins f what was once part of the Roman Empire. What can we learn? The Roman Empire, is a reflection of an era when ruling  was very powerful and influenced everything. An Emperor was ruler. The Colosseum Once a very famous landmark, was destroyed by an earthquake.   The Colosseum which is now an amphitheatre , was once famous for gladiator events. FAMILY MEMBER GOES TO SURGERY FOR THE LAYPERSON

  So , your family member has been scheduled for surgery. You are a person who has no real exposure to how surgery works.  Sometimes, talking to someone who had a bad experience may not be helpful. It is always best to seek medical  advice and weigh up everything. The doctor will address any concerns the patient and family have prior to surgery. A look at the Operating Room Prior to surgery, the Operating Room is cleansed sterilely. The patient is prepped as ordered by the doctor. Extreme measures are taken to prevent the spread of infection. The   surgical team spent a significant length of time scrubbing up. In addition, sterile gowns and gloves are worn. Masks  are used over the nose and mouth. After surgery, the length of the hospital stay may vary.
